Cancellation & Account Recall Policy

Clients may request cancellation of services or recall of a collection account by emailing info@davidmichaelco.com. Please include your business name and the account or service you wish to cancel.

Cancellation and account recall are subject to the terms of your signed service agreement. David Michael Commercial will confirm the status and effective date of your request in writing.

Cancellation does not eliminate fees already earned or authorized costs already incurred under your agreement. Any commissions associated with direct payments, settlements, or recalled accounts will be determined by that agreement.

For accounts referred to an attorney or involving pending legal proceedings, additional steps may be required to close or transfer the matter. Any related charges remain subject to the applicable agreements.

Refund eligibility for prepaid services will be determined by your signed agreement and applicable law. Please include any refund request with your cancellation request.

This policy applies to client services. It does not cancel a debtor’s underlying debt or settlement obligations. If this policy conflicts with a signed service agreement, that agreement controls, subject to applicable law.
