Placement checklist
Not every account will have every document listed below. Provide what is available and identify any material gap, dispute, or prior arrangement that could affect recovery.
Legal or operating name, known addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, website, responsible contacts, and any related entities relevant to the account.
An itemized balance, invoices, statements, credits, payments, interest or fees if authorized, and an explanation of how the current amount was calculated.
Contracts, purchase orders, proposals, delivery records, completion records, change orders, rental agreements, or other documents showing what was promised and provided.
Important emails, letters, notes, promises to pay, payment-plan discussions, returned mail, and the dates of meaningful prior contact.
Any complaint, offset, quality issue, chargeback, warranty claim, or disagreement the debtor has raised should be identified before placement.
The contacts authorized to approve payment plans, settlements, or escalation recommendations, along with any business considerations DMC should understand.
Before submitting
Use DMC’s secure placement form or client portal for account documentation. Do not send Social Security numbers, consumer financial information, banking credentials, or other unnecessary sensitive data through ordinary email or live chat.
DMC focuses on commercial receivables. Confirm that the obligation is business-to-business and identify any individual guaranty separately if one exists.
Common questions
Do not email sensitive account files unless DMC specifically directs you to do so. Use the secure placement form or client portal for account documents.
No. A consultation or placement inquiry does not create a client relationship. Recovery services begin only under a written agreement accepted by DMC.
Include the dispute and the records relevant to it. Knowing the issue at placement helps DMC evaluate the account and avoid repeating work your team has already done.
